Up and at 'em
How are you all? I'm digging out the cold weather clothes and heading to the UK (hooray!), for a flying visit. The Thames Valley History Festival has brought together historians and writers of histfic to talk about everything from the War of the Roses to the relevance of history itself. On Saturday Tim Lynch and I will be chatting about WW2: Home Front to War. If you're near Eton, would love to see you there.
Meanwhile, many of us have been wondering what to do to help with the disaster in the Philippines. Keris Stainton has set up Authors for the Philippines - the auction opens today, with a host of writing related goodies, from manuscript appraisals by bestselling authors to signed copies. Do take a look - all funds are going to the Red Cross:
Look forward to reporting back on the trip - books, vintage tea party, jazz singers and Christmas lights at Windsor castle - should be fun. Take care x
